This type of loss is known as \u201c<strong>telogen effluvium<\/strong>\u201d and it\u2019s characterized by hair loss after brushing. It\u2019s usually temporary but it can be extended.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Extreme diets<\/span> \u2013 Some diets with a <strong>lack of nutrients<\/strong> bring imbalance to the body causing hair loss, and sometimes also anaemia and body damages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Medicines<\/span> \u2013 Consumption of <strong>medicines<\/strong> as contraceptive pills, antidepressants and anti-inflammatories can cause hair loss in many people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Diseases<\/span> &#8211; Many <strong>diseases<\/strong> as fiber, thyroid disease, syphilis, lupus and vascular diseases cause hair loss. Although this is temporary and hair recovers when the body is healthy again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Low iron level<\/span> \u2013 Iron deficiency can also cause hair loss. Many people have a <strong>lack of iron<\/strong> level or their body can&#8217;t assimilate it well. Women with a heavy menstrual period usually have a lack of iron levels.
