Let&#8217;s start!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ingredients ( 2 &#8211; 3 people)<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>1 cup barley (previously soaked for a couple of hours).<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00bd cups of water.<\/li>\n<li>2 carrots cut into squares.<\/li>\n<li>A handful of chopped <strong>green beans.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons chopped olives.<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons of <strong>lightly toasted sunflower seeds<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>2 bay leaves.<\/li>\n<li>Sea salt.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tofu mayonnaise.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients for decoration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some roasted red pepper strips.<\/li>\n<li>Cucumber and olives slices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Put he barley in a pot.<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>water, sea salt and the bay leaf.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook it on a low heat until water evaporates.<\/li>\n<li>Boil carrots and green beans for <strong>4 minutes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Wash them and mix with the <strong>cooked barley, the seeds, olives and some tofu mayonnaise to make the shape of a cake.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Cover the cake with more tofu mayonnaise.<\/li>\n<li>Decorate it with the<strong> cucumber, pepper and olives on top. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>* This recipe is also great if you use brown <strong>rice instead of barley.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Now you know this healthy recipe of barley salad, we encourage you to prepare it and taste a fresh, healthy and flavourful dish!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You will love the fresh and energetic salad recipe we have today!
