Eating healthily does not mean you can\u2019t enjoy the foods you love from time to time. It simply means that we can find alternatives to the conventional ingredients to create a dish that is better for your health and your wellbeing. Because we know everyone loves a good burger, today\u2019s recipe is a delicious <strong>rice and bean burger<\/strong> for you to try and taste the goodness for yourself.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups of cooked brown rice<\/li>\n<li>1 cup of cooked kidney beans<\/li>\n<li>1 red onion<\/li>\n<li>1 garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp grounded cumin<\/li>\n<li>1 nutmeg<\/li>\n<li>Pepper<\/li>\n<li>Fresh parsley<\/li>\n<li>Fresh oregano<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Chop and saut\u00e9 the red onion and garlic with a pinch of salt, to remove the water from the onion.<\/li>\n<li>Put cooked rice and beans in a bowl, add the cumin, nutmeg powder, fresh chopped oregano and parsley, pepper and the saut\u00e9d onion and garlic.<\/li>\n<li>Mash the mixture thoroughly with the hands, then shape into burgers and place on a tray.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a tbsp of sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>They can be served in bread (preferably spelt or rye bread) or eat them with fork and knife with a summer salad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/\">https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bon app\u00e9tit!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re always excited to present you with healthy vegetable burger alternatives, such as the millet, tofu, and carrot and legumes burger recipes we\u2019ve created for you before.
