Thankfully, there are <strong>natural remedies to deal with this increasingly common problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many times, when we suffer from anxiety, <strong>we don\u2019t look at the lifestyle choices we are making and how they can be causing the anxiety in the first place.<\/strong> Everybody\u2019s anxiety is different to a certain extent and stems from a different place. Instead of reaching for prescription drugs and not dealing with the core issue, <strong>try including these tips and remedies into your day-to-day and see how they can help you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Reduce alcohol, caffeine and sugar intake<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Caffeine is a stimulator that can trigger anxiety symptoms like heart palpitations, anxiety and irritation.<\/strong> If you\u2019re someone who is prone to getting anxious, avoiding caffeine is very helpful. Our automatic reaction is to breath in more air, but that\u2019s not what\u2019s going to solve the issue, because that would mean even more oxygen in our body when what we need is carbon dioxide.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, <strong>practicing deep breathing is very helpful<\/strong> when suffering from an anxiety attack as it balances the breaths and the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take a deep breath in for 6 seconds<\/strong> followed by an <strong>exhalation of 6 seconds.<\/strong> Do this several times until you feel that you have you\u2019re breathing under control and you\u2019ve calmed down.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h4><strong>Exercise<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Exercising frequently reduces stress<\/strong>, which as a result, will <strong>help reduce anxiety.<\/strong> Research shows that e<strong>ngaging in physical activity improves mood and decreases anxiety.<\/strong> Whether it\u2019s going to the <strong>gym, running, yoga, pilates, swimming, dancing, cycling<\/strong> or simply going on <strong>daily walks in the park<\/strong>, make sure you take time to move your body and distress from your day.
