In addition to providing the necessary energy to our body, millet is rich in iron, and it is a complex carbohydrate that can be consumed by diabetics as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/en\/gluten-free-recipe-for-celiacs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">celiac people<\/a> as it is a <strong>gluten-free cereal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"millet cereal\" src=\"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/mijo1.jpg\" alt=\"millet for celiacs\" width=\"700\" height=\"466\" \/><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Millet benefits<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Among all its health benefits we would like to highlight:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Millet is low in fat and cholesterol.<\/li>\n<li>Millet is high in phosphorus, mineral that gives us vitality both physically and mentally.<\/li>\n<li>Millet is a whole grain cereal that produces antioxidant and benefits for the immune system.<\/li>\n<li>Millet is very rich in vitamin B therefore it is beneficial to cope with stress and generate states of relaxation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>How to prepare a millet veggie burger<\/h5>\n<h6><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>3 cups cooked millet<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<li>Pepper<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd grated onion<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 grated carrot<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoons mustard<\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoon of chopped parsley<\/li>\n<li>Organic virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Mash cooked millet with hands whilst adding the onion and the carrot, and the salt and the pepper at your own choice. With damp hands, form the paste into round burgers and fry them with little oil for 3 \u2013 4 minutes each or until golden brown.<\/p>\n<p>The veggie burger can be served with salad and some natural sauce such as tamari soy sauce.
