Hoy procuramos dar respuestas a todas estas preguntas relacionadas con el az\u00facar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1970 aligncenter\" title=\"la sacarina es mala\" src=\"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/sacarina1.jpg\" alt=\"edulcorantes artificiales\" width=\"700\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfDebemos tomar sacarina?<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sacarina es el edulcorante sint\u00e9tico m\u00e1s antiguo que existe y est\u00e1 muy extendido porque es acal\u00f3rico, es decir, <strong>la sacarina no tiene calor\u00edas<\/strong> y, aunque hubo una \u00e9poca en la que se coment\u00f3 que la sacarina pod\u00eda producir c\u00e1ncer, no est\u00e1 demostrado que sea perjudicial para la salud. Sin embargo, <strong>la sacarina es un producto artificial<\/strong> (E954) hecho a partir de qu\u00edmicos por lo que ser\u00eda m\u00e1s recomendable usar productos naturales y ecol\u00f3gicos como los siropes de arroz o de arce.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Edulcorantes naturales<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los edulcorantes naturales son los alimentos dulces extra\u00eddos directamente de la naturaleza, sin aditivos qu\u00edmicos ni conservantes de ning\u00fan tipo y sin ser refinados como el az\u00facar, por lo que suelen utilizarse como <strong>alimentos sustitutos del az\u00facar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Entre los edulcorantes naturales m\u00e1s utilizados est\u00e1n la <strong>miel<\/strong>, el <strong>sirope de arroz<\/strong>, el <strong>sirope de \u00e1gave<\/strong> (que se obtiene del cactus que tiene el mismo nombre), el <strong>sirope de cebada<\/strong> y el <strong>sirope de arce<\/strong>. En nuestras pautas de nutrici\u00f3n saludable recomendamos utilizar los siropes y melazas, en especial la <strong>melaza de arroz<\/strong>, para endulzar tanto las infusiones como las recetas dulces de postres, reposter\u00eda, boller\u00eda natural, etc\u00e9tera.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 la miel es menos recomendable que los siropes?<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desde el punto de vista nutricional <strong>es importante utilizar endulzantes o sustitutos del az\u00facar naturales que no tengan un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico alto<\/strong> para evitar as\u00ed las subidas r\u00e1pidas de glucosa (y sus correspondientes bajadas). En general nos interesa consumir <strong>productos con un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico bajo<\/strong> que ayuden a mantener estables los niveles de glucosa (cantidad de az\u00facar en sangre) y nos aporten una energ\u00eda de fondo, sin picos ni bajadas de az\u00facar.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00cdndice Gluc\u00e9mico (IG)<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico de un alimento nos indica <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">la rapidez con que un carbohidrato sube el nivel de glucosa en sangre<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuanto m\u00e1s elevado es el \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico, m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida es la subida y m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida es la bajada consiguiente, haciendo que volvamos a desear dulce y produciendo picos de az\u00facar nada recomendables para nuestra salud. El \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico se suele clasificar en:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bajo: menos de 55<\/li>\n<li>Medio: de 56 a 69<\/li>\n<li>Alto: m\u00e1s de 70<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La miel natural tiene un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico alto<\/strong>, var\u00eda en funci\u00f3n del tipo de miel, pero suele estar entre 70 y 80, mientras que la melaza de arroz suele tener un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico alrededor de 20 y el sirope de agave tiene un \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico alrededor de 19.
