Hoy el sorgo aparece como <strong>el cereal estrella<\/strong> por su rica composici\u00f3n, sus m\u00faltiples beneficios y  las posibilidades de utilizaci\u00f3n en numerosas recetas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el sorgo? <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>El sorgo pertenece a la familia de las gram\u00edneas y es considerado una variedad del mijo. Fue cultivado durante mucho tiempo para alimentaci\u00f3n ganadera y en biocombustibles. Su cultivo es el quinto m\u00e1s importante a nivel mundial entre los cereales y su principal caracter\u00edstica, que lo diferencia del resto de cereales, es que <strong>no contiene gluten<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a su composici\u00f3n destaca su aporte energ\u00e9tico por<strong> su elevada cantidad de carbohidratos<\/strong>, lo que adem\u00e1s le da un sabor dulce; <strong>su bajo contenido en grasas y su riqueza en minerales antioxidantes<\/strong> como el zinc. Adem\u00e1s es un buen aporte de vitaminas del grupo B como la niacina as\u00ed como de fibra, calcio y f\u00f3sforo.
