{"id":71749,"date":"2016-06-08T18:07:38","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T16:07:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/sabemos-lo-que-comemos\/"},"modified":"2022-11-09T20:36:06","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T18:36:06","slug":"sabemos-lo-que-comemos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/es\/sabemos-lo-que-comemos\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00bfSabemos lo que comemos?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201c\u00a1Ese tipo de alimentaci\u00f3n es muy cara!\u201d \u201cLleva mucho tiempo el prepararla\u201d \u201cYo no tengo tiempo para eso\u201d; estos son algunos de los argumentos que oigo por parte de aquellos a\u00fan no convencidos por el impacto que tiene la alimentaci\u00f3n en nuestra salud. <strong>Quiz\u00e1s es momento de que dejemos de preguntarnos por qu\u00e9 la alimentaci\u00f3n natural es tan cara, y nos preguntemos por qu\u00e9 la alimentaci\u00f3n procesada puede ser tan barata<\/strong>, tiene tanta caducidad, es tan f\u00e1cil y r\u00e1pida de preparar\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La medicina cient\u00edfica ha experimentado un gran avance en los \u00faltimos 50 a\u00f1os, consiguiendo que personas que padecen determinadas patolog\u00edas puedan vivir cada vez m\u00e1s a\u00f1os desde su diagn\u00f3stico. Sin embargo, poco o nada se habla de c\u00f3mo evitar que dichas patolog\u00edas lleguen a producirse. Hipocrat\u00e9s, reconocido como el padre de la medicina occidental, dec\u00eda <strong>\u201cQue el alimento sea tu medicina y la medicina sea tu alimento\u201d<\/strong>. Esa es la importancia que le atribu\u00eda a la alimentaci\u00f3n, capaz de enfermarnos o de sanarnos. Y es que si lo reflexionamos, no existe ning\u00fan otro factor controlable a lo largo de nuestra vida capaz de influir tanto en nuestra salud, nuestro aspecto f\u00edsico, nuestra vitalidad y hasta nuestra agilidad mental que los alimentos que ingerimos. Por tanto creo que puede merecer la pena prestarle algo de atenci\u00f3n a este aspecto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vivimos en un mundo inundado por la publicidad, con escasa regulaci\u00f3n al respecto, sobre todo cuando se refiera a alimentaci\u00f3n. No llega al grueso de la sociedad un mensaje claro de qu\u00e9 es o deja de ser beneficioso para nuestra salud, <strong>reinando una gran confusi\u00f3n, que hace que incluso aquellos productos menos beneficiosos para nuestra salud parezcan ser el gran remedio para contar con energ\u00eda, calcio, prote\u00ednas<\/strong>, hacer funcionar de mejor manera nuestro sistema digestivo o aumentar nuestras defensas. La legislaci\u00f3n europea cuenta con un gran vac\u00edo al respecto, que hace que para el com\u00fan de la gente sea imposible descifrar el contenido real de un alimento, por m\u00e1s tiempo que pase leyendo su etiqueta. <strong>Incluso los estudios cient\u00edficos se encuentran cada vez m\u00e1s condicionados por los intereses de quien los subvenciona<\/strong>, enfoc\u00e1ndose en las caracter\u00edsticas positivas que pueda tener el consumo frecuente de un alimento, eludiendo el perjuicio que pudiera causar bajo otras perspectivas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mientras tanto, el gasto en sanidad de los gobiernos no dejan de crecer a\u00f1o a a\u00f1o, de la misma manera que crece el n\u00famero de personas que padecen c\u00e1ncer, enfermedades cardiovasculares, diabetes, hipertensi\u00f3n y otras tantas enfermedades relacionados en gran medida con nuestro estilo de vida. <strong>No se trata de dejar de disfrutar un aspecto tan importante en nuestras vidas como es la alimentaci\u00f3n, sino de tener el conocimiento para hacerlo de una manera inteligente.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Alejandro Bataller<br \/>\nVicepresidente SHA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201c\u00a1Ese tipo de alimentaci\u00f3n es muy cara!\u201d \u201cLleva mucho tiempo el prepararla\u201d \u201cYo no tengo tiempo para eso\u201d; estos son algunos de los argumentos que oigo por parte de aquellos a\u00fan no convencidos por el impacto que tiene la alimentaci\u00f3n en nuestra salud.
