{"id":71806,"date":"2016-08-09T10:28:54","date_gmt":"2016-08-09T08:28:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/el-movimiento-mindful-eating\/"},"modified":"2022-11-09T20:57:52","modified_gmt":"2022-11-09T18:57:52","slug":"el-movimiento-mindful-eating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/es\/el-movimiento-mindful-eating\/","title":{"rendered":"El Movimiento &#8216;Mindful Eating&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Muchos de habr\u00e9is o\u00eddo hablar del mindfulness o de la meditaci\u00f3n, pero,  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00bfqu\u00e9 es el mindful eating?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>El <em>mindful eating<\/em> es <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">una forma m\u00e1s consciente de alimentarse, una manera de conectar con uno mismo, con nuestro cuerpo, para conocer mejor cu\u00e1les son sus necesidades para as\u00ed poder alimentarlo de la mejor manera posible<\/span>, teniendo en cuenta las cantidades y la calidad de la comida. Cuando la mente y el cuerpo est\u00e1n sincronizados, somos m\u00e1s conscientes de lo que nos pide el cuerpo. El famoso dicho de que \u2018la naturaleza es sabia\u2019 es lo que debemos aplicar para ser m\u00e1s intuitivos con nuestro cuerpo y nutrirlo de forma saludable.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se practica el Mindful Eating?<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Estar en el presente:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Un aspecto fundamental del mindful eating es saber estar en el presente y dejar las distracciones de lado.<\/span> Las distracciones m\u00e1s comunes hoy en d\u00eda son los est\u00edmulos de la tecnolog\u00eda, como los tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles y televisiones. A la hora de comer, si estamos centrados en otra cosa que no sea comer, no llegamos a estar atentos a c\u00f3mo estamos comiendo ni de la cantidad que se est\u00e1 ingiriendo. El simple acto de masticar se hace sin pensar, con lo cual, no se mastica la comida lo suficiente, se come demasiado r\u00e1pido, y como consecuencia, podemos llegar a sentirnos  hinchados  y acumular gases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comer y masticar despacio:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Por otra parte, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">comer de forma r\u00e1pida puede resultar en una sensaci\u00f3n de no haber llegado a la saciedad, ya que el est\u00f3mago tarda unos 20 minutos en detectar que est\u00e1 lleno<\/span>, con lo cual, si comemos de forma r\u00e1pida, podemos comer m\u00e1s de la cuenta ya que a\u00fan no hemos llegado a saciarnos en tan poco tiempo.<\/p>\n<p>La boca es la primera parte del sistema digestivo, donde comienza el proceso de la digesti\u00f3n. Por ello es importante masticar bien la comida para facilitar la digesti\u00f3n al resto del aparato digestivo.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00bfTienes hambre?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Otro aspecto del mindful eating es poder identificar cuando uno tiene hambre de verdad, y cuando el hambre es el resultado de un estimulo emocional. Cuando estamos emocionalmente inestables, nos entra el antojo de querer comidas poco saludables, como por ejemplo alimentos azucarados. El mindful eating pretende que podamos identificar aquellos momentos en los que un motivo nos hace querer comer.  Si dedicamos tiempo a conocer mejor nuestra mente y nuestro cuerpo, y cu\u00e1les son las causas de nuestros antojos, podemos llegar a tener mayor control de lo que comemos.  De esta manera, comemos lo que nuestro cuerpo necesita y no lo que nuestro estado emocional nos pide.<\/p>\n<p><b>No comas m\u00e1s de la cuenta:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Curiosamente, en una isla remota de Jap\u00f3n llamada Okinawa, viven las personas m\u00e1s longevas, con una media de vida de hasta 100 a\u00f1os. Su secreto de longevidad es debido a la forma intuitiva que tienen de comer; s\u00f3lo comen hasta que est\u00e1n un 80% llenos, o como lo llaman ellos \u2018hara hachi bu\u2019. En la cultura occidental, nos hemos acostumbrado a comer sin medida y hasta que el est\u00f3mago no puede m\u00e1s. Sin embargo, comer de esta manera no es saludable, ya que hace que el sistema digestivo trabaje en exceso y es lo que nos hace estar exhaustos despu\u00e9s de una comida grande.<\/p>\n<p>Por ello, es importante comer la cantidad de comida que el cuerpo necesita para estar vital, y no pasarse. Por eso hay que comer lentamente y masticando correctamente, para conectar con nuestra sensaci\u00f3n de saciedad.<\/p>\n<h4>En resumidas cuentas, para practicar el Mindful Eating, debes:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Masticar lentamente y de forma consciente.<\/li>\n<li>Centrarte en la comida y no en ver la televisi\u00f3n o estar en el m\u00f3vil.<\/li>\n<li>Aprender a distinguir cuando tienes hambre y cuando quieres comer por antojo.<\/li>\n<li>Beber suficiente agua durante todo el d\u00eda. La parte del cerebro que controla el hambre, tambi\u00e9n controla la sed, con lo cual, la sensaci\u00f3n de hambre y sed puede ser la misma. Al beber suficiente agua a lo largo del d\u00eda, te mantienes hidratado y no tienes la misma sensaci\u00f3n de hambre.<\/li>\n<li>Disfrutar de la comida y estar presente en el momento.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfTe unes al movimiento Mindful Eating?
