En el mundo de la diet\u00e9tica, los productos bajos en grasa son uno de los m\u00e1s vendidos, ya que la gente le tiene p\u00e1nico a las grasas, porque piensan que engordan y son malas para la salud.<\/p>\n<p>El mito detr\u00e1s de la grasa ha sido descubierto recientemente en un art\u00edculo publicado por <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/09\/13\/well\/eat\/how-the-sugar-industry-shifted-blame-to-fat.html?_r=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a> donde han descubierto que la industria del az\u00facar soborn\u00f3 a unos cient\u00edficos en los a\u00f1os 60 para hacer creer que las grasas eran perjudiciales para la salud, y no el az\u00facar. Es por ello que la gente cree que las grasas son malas y engordan.<\/p>\n<p>A ra\u00edz de esas acusaciones, naci\u00f3 el este falso mito y existe tanta informaci\u00f3n confusa acerca de las grasas.<strong> Es importante diferenciar entre las grasas saludables y las no saludables.<\/strong> Las grasas <strong>monoinsaturadas y poliinsaturadas<\/strong> son las llamadas <strong>\u2018grasas saludables\u2019<\/strong> y las <strong>grasas saturadas son las que son perjudiciales para la salud.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ya que las grasas han tenido una reputaci\u00f3n negativa, los alimentos bajos en grasa han ganado popularidad. Sin embargo, las grasas saludables no son malas para la salud y no engordan. \u00a1Todo lo contrario!  <strong>Son buenas para mantener un peso saludable,<\/strong> ya que son <strong>saciantes<\/strong> y ayudan a mantener una dieta equilibrada.<\/p>\n<p>Lo que mucha gente no sabe es que <strong>los alimentos bajos en grasa son perjudiciales<\/strong> para la salud ya que <strong>contienen az\u00facar y otros ingredientes artificiales.<\/strong> Y como ahora ya se sabe, es el az\u00facar lo que engorda y no las grasas saludables. Por lo tanto, no te dejes llevar por falsos mitos del mundo de la diet\u00e9tica. <strong>Las grasas saludables no engordan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Funciones de las grasas saludables<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Las grasas saludables (monoinsaturadas y poliinsaturadas) son muy importantes para una salud \u00f3ptima.<\/strong> Tienen muchas funciones esenciales para un buen funcionamiento del cuerpo.<\/p>\n<p>Son una <strong>buena fuente de energ\u00eda.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Contienen <strong>\u00e1cidos grasos esenciales para el crecimiento y desarrollo de las funciones celulares<br \/>\n<\/strong>Son <strong>buenas para la salud cerebral.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Mantienen <strong>una piel saludable y radiante<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<strong>Transportan vitaminas A, D, E y K<\/strong> en el sistema sangu\u00edneo para ser absorbidas en el cuerpo.<br \/>\nForman hormonas para procesos importantes del organismo.<\/p>\n<p>Todas estas funciones realizadas por las grasas saludables son vitales para nuestra salud.
