Sin embargo, <strong>el estr\u00e9s negativo es el que se presenta de forma m\u00e1s consistente.<\/strong> \u00c9ste tipo de estr\u00e9s <strong>puede llegar a ser cr\u00f3nico y tiene efectos nocivos sobre la salud.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 sucede en el cuerpo cuando nos estresamos?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>El sistema nervioso reacciona a una amenaza externa y provoca una liberaci\u00f3n de adrenalina<\/strong>, mientras que el hipot\u00e1lamo produce la hormona liberadora de corticotropina, <strong>que inicia el proceso de la producci\u00f3n de la hormona del estr\u00e9s, el cortisol.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dichas hormonas<\/strong> (cortisol, adrenalina y otros mensajeros qu\u00edmicos)<strong> act\u00faan como mensajeros qu\u00edmicos que entran en el sistema sangu\u00edneo y se distribuyen por todo el cuerpo<\/strong>. Las hormonas se amarran a las c\u00e9lulas del cuerpo, ya que la mayor\u00eda de ellas contienen receptores de glucocorticoides, que permiten que las hormonas se amarren a las c\u00e9lulas.<\/p>\n<p>El incremento de cortisol y adrenalina distribuidos por todo el cuerpo hacen que el organismo se manifieste con s\u00edntomas f\u00edsicos. <strong>El cortisol incrementa el nivel de az\u00facar en sangre<\/strong>, mientras que <strong>la adrenalina hace que el coraz\u00f3n palpite m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido,<\/strong> distribuyendo m\u00e1s ox\u00edgeno por todo el cuerpo.<\/p>\n<p>Este proceso que ocurre en el cuerpo cuando responde a un estresor es manejable y no perjudica a la salud cuando no ocurre con frecuencia. El eustress, tambi\u00e9n conocido como estr\u00e9s agudo, s\u00f3lo ocurre de forma espor\u00e1dica y de duraci\u00f3n corta. Sin embargo, <strong>el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico es el que tiene efectos nocivos en la salud.<\/strong> Si tu cuerpo est\u00e1 activando el proceso de estr\u00e9s frecuentemente, <strong>el cuerpo y el cerebro no dispone de suficiente tiempo para resetear las hormonas y los productos qu\u00edmicos inflamatorios a un nivel normal y controlado.<\/strong> Como consecuencia, el sistema inmune se ve debilitado y tiene efectos nocivos sobre la salud.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 consecuencias tiene el estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico sobre la salud?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Debilita el sistema inmune<\/li>\n<li>Crea antojos poco saludables ya que el incremento de nivel de cortisol hace que los niveles de az\u00facar aumenten. La subida del nivel de az\u00facar en sangre hace que tengamos antojo de dulce y comida poco saludable.<\/li>\n<li>Incrementa el almacenamiento de grasa ya que el cuerpo almacena grasa y aumenta el tama\u00f1o de las c\u00e9lulas grasa. Como consecuencia, se tiende a engordar- aumentando el riesgo de obesidad-, la presi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea es m\u00e1s alta y colesterol tambi\u00e9n aumenta.<\/li>\n<li>Problemas de descanso<\/li>\n<li>Dolores de cabeza<\/li>\n<li>Subida de az\u00facar en sangre<\/li>\n<li>Puede influir en la digesti\u00f3n, causando s\u00edntomas como el estre\u00f1imiento o diarrea.<\/li>\n<li>Envejecimiento prematuro<\/li>\n<li>Perdida del pelo<\/li>\n<li>Cambios de humor<\/li>\n<li>Falta de energ\u00eda<\/li>\n<li>Ansiedad<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teniendo en cuenta que el estr\u00e9s influye en nuestra salud y bienestar, es recomendable encontrar una manera de que el estr\u00e9s no forme parte de nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda<\/strong>, ya que puede estar perjudicando la salud.<\/p>\n<p>Es importante controlar el estr\u00e9s para <strong>no dejar que cada situaci\u00f3n estresante te cree estr\u00e9s<\/strong>.
