Con una media de edad pasados los 100 a\u00f1os, uno se pregunta <strong>\u00bfqu\u00e9 hacen para vivir tantos a\u00f1os?<\/strong> Lo mejor de todo es que <strong>viven una vida muy plena, llena de vitalidad, movimiento y felicidad.<\/strong> La clave no s\u00f3lo es vivir hasta ser muy mayor, sino que tambi\u00e9n se tenga <strong>calidad de vida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tenemos mucho que aprender de la gente de Okinawa ya que <strong>parecen tener las claves para vivir una vida saludable, equilibrada y plena, dando balance a la salud mental, emocional y f\u00edsica.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Entonces, <strong>\u00bfqu\u00e9 hacen los habitantes de Okinawa para vivir tanto?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h4>Hara Hachi Bu-\u2018El arte de no comer en exceso\u2019<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Si hay algo que hacemos mal en nuestra sociedad, es comer demasiado. <strong>Tendemos a comer m\u00e1s de la cuenta<\/strong>, y cuando comemos, nuestro objetivo es sentirnos llenos. Sin embargo, <strong>la filosof\u00eda de la gente de Okinawa es comer hasta estar un 80% llenos<\/strong>, para as\u00ed evitar comer m\u00e1s de lo necesario y tener m\u00e1s conciencia de la cantidad de comida que realmente necesitamos para sentirnos saciados, tambi\u00e9n conocido en el occidente como <a href=\"https:\/\/shawellness.com\/shamagazine\/el-movimiento-mindful-eating\/\">Mindful Eating.<\/a> Es una buena forma de <strong>estar m\u00e1s en contacto con nuestro cuerpo y darle lo que necesita para que pueda funcionar de la mejor manera.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>\n<h4>Siguen una dieta vegetariana<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Comen <strong>una dieta mayormente vegetariana<\/strong>, con algunas excepciones de vez en cuando. Su dieta se basa en comer <strong>muchas verduras coloridas, legumbres (mayormente la soja) y arroz y pescado en pocas cantidades<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, <strong>consumen pocas grasas y az\u00facar y la carne y los l\u00e1cteos los comen en muy pocas ocasiones.<\/strong> Uno de los alimentos que m\u00e1s comen, tambi\u00e9n como sustituto del arroz, es el<strong> boniato.<\/strong> Las verduras amarillas y naranjas como el boniato, <strong>son ricas en carotenoides y vitamina A.<\/strong> <strong>Disminuyen la inflamaci\u00f3n en el cuerpo, aumentan el crecimiento y el desarrollo, fortalecen el sistema inmune y combaten el envejecimiento prematuro.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>\n<h4>Hacen ejercicio<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>El ejercicio es una parte fundamental del d\u00eda a d\u00eda de los Okinawenses.<\/strong> Parte de su cultura es <strong>hacer ejercicio en grupo y al aire libre.<\/strong> Aprovechan los espacios p\u00fablicos para hacer clases en grupo y abiertos a todo el mundo. <strong>Disfrutan ejercitando el cuerpo y lo ven como una actividad social.<\/strong> De hecho, la edad no les impide hacer ejercicio. Siempre <strong>tiran para delante con un esp\u00edritu trabajador y optimista.<\/strong> Tener una mentalidad positiva <strong>ayuda a la hora de ser m\u00e1s felices y estar satisfechos y contentos con nuestra vida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>\n<h4>Son muy sociales<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>La gente de Okinawa le da mucha prioridad a su familia y a sus seres queridos.<\/strong> Un aspecto muy importante de la salud y bienestar, es la parte social. <strong>Pasar tiempo con nuestros seres queridos<\/strong>, aparte de la felicidad que nos aporta, tambi\u00e9n <strong>nos hace sentir protegidos, queridos y que pertenecemos a una comunidad.<\/strong> Es importante relacionarse con gente cercana y pasar tiempo con ellos. <strong>Es una parte fundamental de la felicidad, y por lo tanto del bienestar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>\n<h4>Pasan tiempo al aire libre<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Al ser una isla preciosa con una naturaleza muy rica, <strong>aprovechan para pasar tiempo al aire libre<\/strong>, ya sea <strong>haciendo deporte, dando paseos, dedicando tiempo a la jardiner\u00eda o disfrutando de la playa.<\/strong> El contacto con la naturaleza <strong>es muy importante para desconectar, respirar aire puro, inhalar los minerales del mar y absorber la vitamina D que aporta el sol.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li>\n<h4>Tienen un prop\u00f3sito en la vida<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Tienen una raz\u00f3n por la que levantarse todas las ma\u00f1anas<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n conocido como <strong>el \u2018ikigai\u2019<\/strong>.
