El trepidante estilo de vida, la dificultad para conciliar la vida familiar y laboral o la falta de ejercicio f\u00edsico y de una correcta alimentaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n entre las causas que pueden contribuir a la aparici\u00f3n de trastornos del sue\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>El actual ritmo de vida, las exigencias laborales, la competitividad y unas expectativas personales y familiares que, muchas veces, escapan a la realidad, terminan por generar un estado de angustia y nerviosismo continuo que, f\u00e1cilmente, pueden derivar en toda una serie de graves trastornos mentales y f\u00edsicos.<\/p>\n<p>Las consecuencias de sufrir <b>estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico<\/b> pueden llegar a ser muy graves para la salud. \u00c9ste se produce con estados prolongados de nerviosismo y alerta del organismo, incluso en ausencia de amenazas. Provoca alteraciones en la presi\u00f3n arterial, la piel o el ritmo de los latidos del coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los s\u00edntomas o, tal vez, una de las consecuencias del estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico son los <b>trastornos del sue\u00f1o<\/b>. Adem\u00e1s, es una condici\u00f3n que se retroalimenta, ya que el nerviosismo hace que no podamos descansar bien y el no descansar bien genera un estr\u00e9s a\u00f1adido.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 son los trastornos del sue\u00f1o?<\/p>\n<p>Por <b>trastornos del sue\u00f1o<\/b> entendemos todos aquellos problemas relacionados con dormir, como dificultades para conciliar el sue\u00f1o, despertarse de manera repetitiva a lo largo de la noche, quedarse dormido en momentos inoportunos y de manera involuntaria, dormir en exceso, as\u00ed como cualquier otra peculiaridad anormal que se produzca en relaci\u00f3n al sue\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Podemos diferenciar cuatro tipos:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Insomnio<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Relacionado con la incapacidad o dificultad para conciliar el sue\u00f1o y conseguir permanecer dormido.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Somnolencia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Problemas que tienen que ver con los estados de letargo excesivo durante el d\u00eda y que dificultan el normal desempe\u00f1o de las actividades de la vida cotidiana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sue\u00f1o entrecortado<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La dificultad para mantenerse dormido o seguir un horario regular a la hora de dormir.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Otros<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hay otros tipos de comportamientos anormales o conductas que interrumpen el descanso, como la apnea del sue\u00f1o, la narcolepsia o sonambulismo, menos relacionados con el estr\u00e9s y la ansiedad.<\/p>\n<p>Las causas de los<b> trastornos del sue\u00f1o<\/b> son variadas y pueden deberse a problemas f\u00edsicos, como ciertas enfermedades, o a problemas psicol\u00f3gicos, como la depresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Consecuencias de la falta de descanso<\/p>\n<p>La falta de sue\u00f1o y descanso, unidos a estados de nerviosismo, ansiedad, estr\u00e9s o depresi\u00f3n, pueden derivar en enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y graves consecuencias para la salud, relacionadas con la obesidad, diabetes, problemas de coraz\u00f3n o, en las mujeres, trastornos de la menstruaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los estados de agotamiento tambi\u00e9n pueden ser la causa que provoque enfermedades psicol\u00f3gicas. Por eso, es importante aprender a relajarse y adquirir buenos h\u00e1bitos de sue\u00f1o, alimentaci\u00f3n, ejercicio f\u00edsico y vida saludable.
