En los pa\u00edses desarrollados, se calcula que m\u00e1s de un sesenta por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n lo sufre en mayor o menor medida y cada vez afecta a personas m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes, incluso a ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>El ritmo de vida endiablado que nos exigen los trabajos, las ciudades y las responsabilidades diarias es el principal causante de nuestro supuesto estado de bienestar.<\/p>\n<p>Si tuvi\u00e9ramos que definir el estr\u00e9s, podr\u00edamos decir que es un estado de agotamiento mental causado por una exigencia en el rendimiento superior a la habitual y que puede llegar a provocar enfermedades f\u00edsicas y mentales. Aunque tambi\u00e9n existe una definici\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica que habla de un conglomerado de alteraciones en el cuerpo como respuesta ante cierto tipo de est\u00edmulos repetitivos, por ejemplo el miedo o la ansiedad. De esto \u00faltimo podemos deducir que estar sometido a estos estados de agobio y nerviosismo durante tanto tiempo termina por generar trastornos m\u00e1s o menos graves.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, se nos exige un rendimiento en el trabajo y en los tiempos que se deben cumplir casi imposible de realizar. Es por ello que el <b>estr\u00e9s laboral<\/b> es una de las principales causas de baja m\u00e9dica en nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>S\u00edntomas del estr\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>El estr\u00e9s puede causar diversos tipos de s\u00edntomas, tanto psicol\u00f3gicos como f\u00edsicos. Algunos de ellos son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trastornos emocionales tales como depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad, miedo, irritabilidad, nerviosismo, cambios en el estado an\u00edmico o incluso confusi\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Pensamientos negativos u obsesivos, autocr\u00edtica excesiva o miedo a tomar decisiones.<\/li>\n<li>Conductas compulsivas como risa nerviosa, trastornos en la alimentaci\u00f3n, abuso en el uso de sustancias t\u00f3xicas como el alcohol, el tabaco o las drogas, o rechinar los dientes de manera involuntaria.<\/li>\n<li>Cambios f\u00edsicos como tener las manos sudorosas o fr\u00edas, sufrir dolores de cabeza de manera regular, alteraciones del sue\u00f1o, sarpullidos, disfunciones sexuales o problemas gastrointestinales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Los s\u00edntomas pueden ser variados, incluso pueden ocurrirnos cosas inesperadas que no tienen m\u00e1s explicaci\u00f3n que un estado de nerviosismo constante. Dependiendo del grado que se padezca, las se\u00f1ales que este estado manda ser\u00e1n m\u00e1s o menos intensas.<\/p>\n<p>Consecuencias del estr\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>Cuando se sufre este trastorno durante mucho tiempo, la salud puede verse afectada de manera considerable.<\/p>\n<p>El <b>estr\u00e9s laboral <\/b>puede terminar en enfermedades tan graves como la diabetes, dolencias card\u00edacas, o problemas a nivel cerebrovascular entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f3mo combatir el estr\u00e9s<\/p>\n<p>Si t\u00fa o alguien de tu entorno est\u00e1 sufriendo de estr\u00e9s cr\u00f3nico o agudo, es imprescindible enfrentarse cuanto antes al problema.<\/p>\n<p>Puede parecer f\u00e1cil decirlo, pero es un hecho: hay tomarse las cosas menos a pecho. Suele ser habitual que cuando se relativiza un problema, la soluci\u00f3n acaba apareciendo sola como por arte de magia.
