As\u00ed pues, la <strong>mejor forma<\/strong> para poder <strong>relajar<\/strong> la <strong>mente<\/strong> y el <strong>cuerpo<\/strong>, es llevando un <strong>control<\/strong> sobre la <strong>respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Sin embargo <strong>no<\/strong> es una<strong> tarea f\u00e1cil<\/strong> ya que <strong>no<\/strong> solemos <strong>prestar<\/strong> atenci\u00f3n en la <strong>manera<\/strong> en la que <strong>respiramos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el pranayama?<\/h3>\n<p>Prana significa energ\u00eda. El <strong>prana<\/strong> es <strong>universal<\/strong> y es el <strong>eje de la vida<\/strong>. En los textos cl\u00e1sicos sobre yoga se dice que cuando la <strong>respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong> est\u00e1 en <strong>calma<\/strong>, <strong>prana<\/strong> esta en <strong>calma<\/strong>. Son <strong>muchas<\/strong> las <strong>personas<\/strong> que <strong>respiran<\/strong> <strong>incorrectamente<\/strong> sin ser conscientes que la <strong>calidad<\/strong> de la <strong>respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong> <strong>afecta<\/strong> <strong>indirectamente<\/strong> a la <strong>calidad<\/strong> de <strong>vida<\/strong>. El <strong>pranayama<\/strong> te <strong>ayuda<\/strong> a <strong>controlar<\/strong> y <strong>equilibrar<\/strong> la <strong>respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong> con el <strong>objetivo<\/strong> de <strong>mejorar<\/strong> nuestra <strong>salud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Existen <strong>tres tipos de pranayama<\/strong> seg\u00fan el <strong>tipo de respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Respiraci\u00f3n abdominal<\/strong>: Debes <strong>mantener<\/strong> los <strong>m\u00fasculos<\/strong> del <strong>abdomen relajados<\/strong> e <strong>inspirar<\/strong> y <strong>expulsar<\/strong> el <strong>aire<\/strong> por la <strong>nariz<\/strong> siempre. Si lo prefieres, puedes <strong>colocar<\/strong> la <strong>mano<\/strong> sobre tu <strong>vientre<\/strong> para notar los movimientos.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respiraci\u00f3n tor\u00e1cica<\/strong>: En este tipo de respiraci\u00f3n se produce una <strong>expansi\u00f3n<\/strong> de la <strong>caja tor\u00e1cica<\/strong>. Debes <strong>hacer fuerza<\/strong> en los <strong>abdominales<\/strong> y respirar. De esta forma <strong>provocas<\/strong> una <strong>tensi\u00f3n<\/strong> en los <strong>abdominales<\/strong>, <strong>impidiendo<\/strong> que el <strong>vientre se expanda<\/strong>, y por lo tanto, se <strong>hinche<\/strong> el <strong>t\u00f3rax<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Respiraci\u00f3n clavicular: <\/strong>Este tipo de respiraci\u00f3n se <strong>produce<\/strong> al<strong> llenar de aire<\/strong> la <strong>parte<\/strong> <strong>superior<\/strong> de los <strong>pulmones. <\/strong>Debes<strong> levantar las clav\u00edculas<\/strong> al coger aire, intentando <strong>no<\/strong> <strong>mover<\/strong> los <strong>hombros<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Si <strong>realizamos<\/strong> estos <strong>tres tipos<\/strong> de <strong>respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong> a la vez, estaremos <strong>realizando<\/strong> una <strong>respiraci\u00f3n completa<\/strong>, siendo la <strong>m\u00e1s adecuada<\/strong> para el <strong>pranayama<\/strong>. La <strong>forma correct<\/strong>a para conseguir esta respiraci\u00f3n es <strong>empezar<\/strong> primero por la <strong>respiraci\u00f3n abdominal<\/strong>, seguida de la <strong>tor\u00e1cica<\/strong> y por \u00faltimo la <strong>clavicular<\/strong>. As\u00ed conseguiremos que los <strong>pulmones<\/strong> <strong>funcionen<\/strong> en su <strong>m\u00e1xima capacidad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son sus beneficios?<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Regular<\/strong> la <strong>frecuencia<\/strong> <strong>respiratoria<\/strong> y <strong>card\u00edaca<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Regular<\/strong> la <strong>presi\u00f3n arterial<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Reducir<\/strong> el <strong>estr\u00e9s<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Eliminar<\/strong> las <strong>toxinas<\/strong> del <strong>cuerpo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Mejorar<\/strong> la <strong>digesti\u00f3n<\/strong> e <strong>incrementar<\/strong> la <strong>inmunidad<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Regular<\/strong> y <strong>mejorar<\/strong> el <strong>estado de \u00e1nimo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>pranayama<\/strong> tiene <strong>distintos<\/strong> tipos de <strong>ejercicios<\/strong> como el <strong>Ujjayi<\/strong>, el Kapalabhati, el <strong>Sithali<\/strong>, etc . Todos ellos <strong>pueden<\/strong> <strong>realizarse<\/strong> en <strong>cualquier posici\u00f3n<\/strong> sentada que sea <strong>estable<\/strong> y que te <strong>permita<\/strong> <strong>mantener<\/strong> la <strong>espalda recta<\/strong>.
