La p<strong>arte m\u00e1s importante<\/strong> de esta planta es el <strong>tub\u00e9rculo<\/strong> que genera, del que se <strong>obtiene una harina alimentaria<\/strong> tradicionalmente utilizada en Jap\u00f3n para<strong> hacer papillas<\/strong> o <strong>tallarines<\/strong>, o bien como espesante<em>.<\/em> Sin embargo, <strong>la parte m\u00e1s medicinal es el glucomanano<\/strong>, un polisac\u00e1rido que se obtiene de la harina de konjac.<\/p>\n<p>En general<strong> utilizamos la pasta de konjac<\/strong> porque resulta <strong>saciante<\/strong>, con lo que es coadyuvante en dietas de p\u00e9rdida de peso, <strong>reduciendo las ganas de comer<\/strong> y la <strong>ansiedad<\/strong>, gracias a su capacidad de absorber agua y saciarnos, adem\u00e1s de <strong>ayudar a controlar el estre\u00f1imiento<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En caso de <strong>problemas con la glucemia<\/strong>, el <strong>colesterol<\/strong> o <strong>enfermedades inflamatorias del intestino<\/strong> sus usos tambi\u00e9n son interesantes. En casos de diabetes se sabe que el consumo de fibra alimentaria a lo largo del d\u00eda ayuda a controlar la glucemia, evitando los \u201cpicos de az\u00facar \u201cdespu\u00e9s de las comidas. En este sentido, el glucomanano, act\u00faa de la misma forma, por lo que es importante tener cuidado en caso de estar medicados.<\/p>\n<p>Para <strong>incorporarla a nuestra dieta<\/strong> podemos <strong>utilizarla<\/strong> como cualquier <strong>otro tipo de pasta<\/strong>.
