Esta condici\u00f3n se define como el <strong>s\u00edndrome caracterizado por una tristeza profunda<\/strong>. En la actualidad su <strong>prevalencia en Espa\u00f1a es del 5\u20192%<\/strong>, con un<strong> incremento del 18\u20194%<\/strong> en diez a\u00f1os. La influencia de la dieta en este factor, o lo que es lo mismo, alimentaci\u00f3n y h\u00e1bitos, parece ser cada vez m\u00e1s reconocida. De hecho, en la actualidad podemos encontrar una <strong>nueva rama de la ciencia<\/strong>: la<strong> psiquiatr\u00eda nutricional<\/strong>, la cual <strong>relaciona los alimentos<\/strong>, los nutrientes y los estados emocionales con el <strong>fin de corregir los desequilibrios<\/strong> o patolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Desde el <strong>punto de vista de la alimentaci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica<\/strong>, la depresi\u00f3n, <strong>la tristeza profunda<\/strong>, el deseo o la sensaci\u00f3n de aislamiento del entorno, est\u00e1 <strong>relacionado <\/strong>con los <strong>pulmones<\/strong> y el <strong>intestino grueso<\/strong>, \u00f3rganos asociados al oto\u00f1o y al elemento Metal, junto con la <strong>piel<\/strong>, que puede ser <strong>considerada el segundo pulm\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Resulta bastante curioso <strong>observar a personas con depresi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Sus brazos caen sin vida a los lados del cuerpo, y al sentarse pueden dejarlos reposando, sin moverlos, sobre el regazo. Su <strong>postura corporal es defensiva<\/strong>, con los hombros ca\u00eddos hacia adelante, lo que <strong>dificulta el correcto funcionamiento de los pulmones<\/strong>. A lo largo de los brazos corren los meridianos de pulm\u00f3n y del intestino grueso, por lo que en caso de desequilibrio, estos pueden parecer sin fuerza, haciendo que las personas puedan tener dificultad para desarrollar los b\u00edceps o los tr\u00edceps.<\/p>\n<p>En <strong>caso de sufrir de depresi\u00f3n<\/strong>, es tan <strong>importante contar<\/strong> con la<strong> ayuda de un buen profesional<\/strong>, experto en la materia, como <strong>cambiar los h\u00e1bitos alimentarios<\/strong> y el <strong>estilo de vida<\/strong>. Por un lado la <strong>relaci\u00f3n con la comida es fundamental<\/strong>, pues se requiere una <strong>dieta rica en alimentos<\/strong> que promuevan la<strong> producci\u00f3n de serotonina<\/strong>. \u00c9sta es un <strong>neurotransmisor<\/strong> que ayuda a <strong>regular el sue\u00f1o<\/strong> y el <strong>apetito<\/strong>, as\u00ed como a <strong>mediar los estados de \u00e1nimo<\/strong> y <strong>disminuir el el dolor<\/strong>. Ya que aproximadamente el <strong>95% es producido en el tracto intestinal<\/strong>, el cual cuenta con unos cien millones de c\u00e9lulas neuronales, tiene sentido que el <strong>funcionamiento interno de su sistema digestivo<\/strong> no s\u00f3lo a<strong>yude a digerir los alimentos<\/strong>, sino t<strong>ambi\u00e9n guiar las emociones<\/strong>. Para ello varios estudios <strong>avalan la importancia de seguir una alimentaci\u00f3n<\/strong> fundamentalmente <strong>vegetariana<\/strong> o incluso <strong>vegana<\/strong>, <strong>excluyendo<\/strong> los<strong> l\u00e1cteos<\/strong> de la dieta, teniendo un <strong>consumo moderado de pescado<\/strong>, <strong>evitando<\/strong> el <strong>at\u00fan<\/strong> y el <strong>salm\u00f3n<\/strong>, y <strong>eliminando<\/strong> otros<strong> productos animales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado y siguiendo el enfoque de la importancia de la salud del microbioma, (la flora intestinal), uno de los<strong> alimentos que resulta imprescindible<\/strong> en su prevenci\u00f3n y tratamiento son <strong>las verduras fermentadas<\/strong>, desde el <strong>chucrut<\/strong> hasta el <strong>kimchi<\/strong>. Si lo vamos a comprar, en vez de hacerlo en casa, es importante que no contenga az\u00facar o vinagre y que no est\u00e9 pasteurizado ya que en este caso, ya no ser\u00eda un probi\u00f3tico.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los <strong>alimentos que debemos incorporar a nuestra dieta<\/strong>, siendo lo ideal un m\u00ednimo de<strong> dos ingestas a diario<\/strong>, son las<strong> hojas vedes<\/strong>. No nos referimos con esto a la lechuga, sino a las<strong> hojas densas<\/strong> y frondosas de la<strong> familia de las coles<\/strong>, puesto que son las verduras que podemos encontrar a partir de esta \u00e9poca del a\u00f1o. Una <strong>cocci\u00f3n suave,<\/strong> tipo blanqueado o vapor, <strong>facilitar\u00e1 su digesti\u00f3n<\/strong> y la <strong>p\u00e9rdida de vitaminas ser\u00e1 m\u00ednima<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El <strong>consumo regular de cereales integrales<\/strong> y particularmente el <strong>arroz integral<\/strong> de grano redondo es <strong>fundamental para tratar nutricionalmente<\/strong> casi <strong>cualquier tipo de desequilibrio emocional<\/strong>. Podemos <strong>consumirlo pr\u00e1cticamente a diario<\/strong>, (en SHA lo recomendamos especialmente como cereal para el desayuno). Recuerda que es importante remojarlo un m\u00ednimo de cinco horas antes de cocinarlo.<\/p>\n<p>Utiliza <strong>hierbas arom\u00e1ticas<\/strong> y <strong>verduras de muchos colores<\/strong> para darle alegr\u00eda a tus platos. Un<strong> wok es una buena opci\u00f3n<\/strong> para tomar esas verduras con una energ\u00eda que nos ayude a salir del estancamiento en el que nos encontramos.<\/p>\n<p>Los<strong> h\u00e1bitos<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n son <strong>cruciales a la hora de tratar la depresi\u00f3n<\/strong>. La <strong>actividad f\u00edsica<\/strong> debe ser <strong>incluida<\/strong> en <strong>cualquier terapia propuesta<\/strong>. Lo m\u00e1s conveniente ser\u00eda realizar<strong> ejercicio al aire libre<\/strong>, <strong>en entornos ricos en ox\u00edgeno<\/strong>, como bosques, playas o parques, ya que la oxigenaci\u00f3n es una parte importante para prevenir patolog\u00edas pulmonares.
