Numerosos estudios nos muestran que lo que comemos s\u00ed nos afecta. <strong>La ciencia a\u00fan no puede decirnos con certeza qu\u00e9 alimentos nos ayudan a dormir, pero s\u00ed que tiene claro qu\u00e9 alimentos nos lo impiden.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En su libro The Sleep Revolution (2016), la autora Arianna Huffington, escribe:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab\u00bfHay alg\u00fan modo de comer para mejorar el sue\u00f1o? En realidad no, pero podemos comer de modo que empeoremos el sue\u00f1o. Respecto a la comida y la bebida, importa m\u00e1s lo que debemos evitar que lo tenemos que comer\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Los<strong> alimentos que debemos evitar<\/strong> si queremos asegurarnos un sue\u00f1o largo y reparador son:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><strong> El caf\u00e9, el t\u00e9 negro y las bebidas energ\u00e9ticas.<\/strong> Todos estos alimentos contienen cafe\u00edna. La cafe\u00edna es tan consumida en todo el mundo por sus efectos sobre la atenci\u00f3n y la concentraci\u00f3n. Nos hace estar m\u00e1s atentos, y podemos concentrarnos durante m\u00e1s tiempo, sin embargo, puede alterar nuestro sue\u00f1o haci\u00e9ndolo superficial y dificultando su conciliaci\u00f3n. La cafe\u00edna puede afectar nuestro sue\u00f1o incluso si tomamos un caf\u00e9 6 horas antes de dormir. Por tal motivo, no se recomienda consumir ning\u00fan alimento con cafe\u00edna despu\u00e9s del almuerzo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alimentos muy picantes,<\/strong> ya que pueden provocar ardor e hinchaz\u00f3n, lo cual va a dificultar el sue\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alimentos grasos<\/strong> que, al igual que los picantes, pueden dificultar la digesti\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>Por la misma raz\u00f3n por la que comer picantes y grasas no se recomienda, <strong>tampoco es aconsejable cenar muy tarde,<\/strong> pues nuestra fuerza digestiva es menor y nos complica el sue\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas.<\/strong> El alcohol dificulta el sue\u00f1o de una manera muy curiosa: facilita la primera fase, al conciliar el sue\u00f1o, pero altera la siguiente, haci\u00e9ndolo superficial y discontinuo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Antes he dicho que <strong>no existen alimentos que favorezcan el sue\u00f1o, sin embargo s\u00ed que hay ingredientes que lo hacen.<\/strong> Estos son algunos ejemplos:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><strong>El magnesio,<\/strong> que lo encontramos en los frutos secos, las semillas, las hojas verdes y el pl\u00e1tano.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La vitamina B6,<\/strong> que la encontramos en el pescado y las legumbres.<\/li>\n<li><strong>El calcio,<\/strong> presente en el s\u00e9samo, las almendras, el nabo o las algas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>El tript\u00f3fano,<\/strong> en los garbanzos, las semillas de calabaza, las algas,<\/li>\n<li> <strong>La melatonina<\/strong> presente en las cerezas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>No est\u00e1 demostrado que los alimentos citados arriba mejoren el sue\u00f1o, pero uno de sus ingredientes s\u00ed que puede ayudar<\/strong> (magnesio, vit,B6, calcio, etc), por tanto, incluy\u00e9ndolos en nuestra dieta nos aseguramos de que no haya deficiencias.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A menudo, damos por hecho que somos como somos, con independencia de lo que comemos.
