Cuando no se produce un descanso productivo, aumenta exponencialmente el riesgo de padecer enfermedades y se vive menos o en peores condiciones.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cronodisrupci\u00f3n y trastornos del sue\u00f1o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El ser humano tiene un reloj biol\u00f3gico y cuando aparecen interferencias asociadas a la edad se produce lo que se conoce como cronodisrupci\u00f3n, la causa m\u00e1s frecuente del trastorno del sue\u00f1o y dem\u00e1s ritmos circadianos.<\/p>\n<p>A medida que pasan los a\u00f1os, y de la misma manera que sucede con el decrecimiento de los niveles hormonales, la calidad y cantidad de sue\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n van disminuyendo. Y esa producci\u00f3n de sue\u00f1o afecta realmente a todo nuestro organismo.<\/p>\n<p>Este es el sentido de la medicina del sue\u00f1o, del tratamiento del descanso. Porque el sue\u00f1o es necesario para toda la regeneraci\u00f3n y reparaci\u00f3n de nuestros tejidos. Conforme vamos acumulando edad, aparece un mayor riesgo de desarrollar alg\u00fan tipo de alteraci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o. Por eso, la medicina del sue\u00f1o se acaba convirtiendo en una de las mejores medicinas preventivas que existen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adoptar una correcta rutina de descanso<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La incorporaci\u00f3n a nuestras vidas de h\u00e1bitos saludables tambi\u00e9n incluye formas de propiciar un mejor descanso.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan el Dr. Vicente Mera, responsable del \u00e1rea del Medicina Interna de SHA y especialista en Medicina del Sue\u00f1o, es \u201cfundamental prepararse para dormir, siempre antes de medianoche, con alg\u00fan ejercicio relajante como la meditaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Otra de sus recomendaciones incluir\u00eda \u201ccomer de forma saludable, descartando excitantes y alcohol, y a horas tempranas\u201d. No es buena idea retrasar mucho la cena, que deber\u00eda concluir antes de las 21:00 horas y con tiempo suficiente para realizar una buena digesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Para el Dr. Mera, tambi\u00e9n es muy aconsejable \u201chacer ejercicio f\u00edsico constante y moderado, aunque nunca por la noche\u201d, as\u00ed como \u201cevitar actividades nocturnas en la cama que distraigan la conciliaci\u00f3n del sue\u00f1o\u201d, como podr\u00edan ser dejar la televisi\u00f3n puesta, mirar el m\u00f3vil o leer.<\/p>\n<p>Por otro lado, es b\u00e1sico construir un entorno propicio para el sue\u00f1o: eliminar ruidos, luces apagadas, evitar temperaturas extremas, alejar los aparatos electr\u00f3nicos, prescindir de los aromas fuertes y disponer de una cama c\u00f3moda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diagn\u00f3stico y estudio del sue\u00f1o en SHA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para SHA, el tratamiento del sue\u00f1o y el descanso siempre fue esencial como parte del cuidado integral de la salud. Muchas veces no se sabe qu\u00e9 vino antes: si el mal descanso o una patolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>A la hora de abordar un tratamiento favorecedor del descanso, lo fundamental es establecer las razones por la cual una persona no duerme bien.
