Tambi\u00e9n garantiza el equilibrio de la microbiota, que tiene importantes funciones en nuestro organismo: energ\u00e9ticas y metab\u00f3licas, papel protector ante otros g\u00e9rmenes pat\u00f3genos y su sobrecrecimiento en el intestino, fortalecedor del sistema inmunitario, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 una buena salud digestiva es tan importante para nuestro bienestar general?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>El aparato digestivo est\u00e1 interconectado con el resto del organismo, especialmente con el sistema nervioso central y el sistema inmunitario, por lo que una buena salud digestiva se refleja en una buena salud general. Me gusta decir que el aparato digestivo es como un \u201cequilibrador\u201d del organismo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfQu\u00e9 es la microbiota intestinal?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Se puede definir la microbiota como el conjunto de los microorganismos presentes en un entorno definido del organismo. En este caso, a la microbiota situada en el tracto intestinal, por ejemplo, se la denominar\u00e1 microbiota intestinal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfCu\u00e1les son las funciones de la microbiota? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>En primer lugar, tiene una actividad metab\u00f3lica y digestiva. Tambi\u00e9n posee un papel protector frente a los pat\u00f3genos y es un factor decisivo en el desarrollo y maduraci\u00f3n del sistema inmune.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfC\u00f3mo podemos mejorar nuestra salud intestinal y anticiparnos a problemas digestivos?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>En general, llevando un estilo de vida saludable. Debemos aumentar el consumo de alimentos prebi\u00f3ticos y probi\u00f3ticos, aprender a gestionar el estr\u00e9s, hacer ejercicio, favorecer un descanso adecuado y promover la lactancia materna, entre otros h\u00e1bitos saludables.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfQu\u00e9 alimentos son los adecuados para propiciar buenas digestiones?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Los alimentos antiinflamatorios y no irritantes para la mucosa digestiva contribuyen a mantener un intestino saludable y, por tanto, una buena salud. Verduras, ajo, cebolla, esp\u00e1rragos, frutas, cereales, legumbres, semillas o aceite de oliva no deber\u00edan faltar en nuestra dieta.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"7\">\n<li><strong> \u00bfCu\u00e1l es la relaci\u00f3n entre intestino y sistema inmune?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Uno y otro son su propio reflejo. Un mal intestino propicia un d\u00e9bil sistema inmune, y viceversa. Entre los factores que afectan al microbioma de nuestro sistema digestivo, los cient\u00edficos resaltan el papel que juegan los f\u00e1rmacos. La ingesta de medicamentos como los antibi\u00f3ticos, los laxantes, las hormonas femeninas, los antidepresivos o los antihistam\u00ednicos altera la composici\u00f3n de la microbiota intestinal.
