Pero hay un rayo de esperanza porque, como nos comenta Cinthya Molina, psic\u00f3loga de SHA, \u201c<em>la sociedad es muy consciente de la importancia de tener una buena salud mental y se habla m\u00e1s abiertamente y con mayor naturalidad sobre estos temas, sin el pudor, la verg\u00fcenza o los prejuicios que s\u00ed ten\u00edan generaciones anteriores\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Los \u00faltimos 15 meses han supuesto un verdadero desaf\u00edo para todos y han llevado al l\u00edmite nuestra salud mental. Adem\u00e1s, que la crisis se est\u00e9 alargando tanto ha provocado la llamada fatiga pand\u00e9mica. La doctora nos explica lo que significa: <em>\u201ces el cansancio y la desmotivaci\u00f3n que sentimos la gran mayor\u00eda de la poblaci\u00f3n ante una situaci\u00f3n que se prolonga en el tiempo y que, al principio, no pens\u00e1bamos que fuera a durar tanto. Estamos viviendo el \u2018efecto de los \u00faltimos kil\u00f3metros\u2019: ya no estamos confinados, mucha gente est\u00e1 vacunada y la mascarilla dejar\u00e1 de ser obligatoria en breve, pero esto todav\u00eda no ha terminado. Por un lado, nos llega el mensaje de que la pandemia est\u00e1 llegando a su fin, pero, por otro, los expertos siguen diciendo que no hay que relajarse. Esto nos produce un cansancio y una desmotivaci\u00f3n causados por la sobreexposici\u00f3n prolongada al estr\u00e9s, la incertidumbre y la tristeza\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pero si algo hemos aprendido de esta crisis es a no pasar por alto ciertas cosas que antes asum\u00edamos como normales y a las que no prest\u00e1bamos demasiada atenci\u00f3n, entre ellas, la salud mental. <em>\u201cPor eso, cada vez son m\u00e1s los que se interesan por disciplinas que trabajan el cuidado del cuerpo unido al de la mente, como la meditaci\u00f3n, el yoga, la respiraci\u00f3n, las t\u00e9cnicas de autocontrol o el mindfulness\u201d<\/em>, a\u00f1ade Cinthya.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adaptarse al nuevo escenario<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aceptar la realidad tal como viene es fundamental para mantener una buena salud mental. Cinthya aconseja<em> \u201cno intentar reprimir las emociones negativas, sino aceptarlas y aprender a manejarlas. La incertidumbre, el miedo, la rabia, la desconfianza o el Covid forman parte de nuestra vida y eliminarlas es imposible. En lugar de invertir tiempo y energ\u00eda en intentar combatir las vivencias desagradables, tanto emocionales como cognitivas, yo prefiero centrarme en lo positivo, en aquello que nos suma en la vida y que nos hace crecer. Lo importante es sentirlas y gestionarlas sin que sean un bloqueo o un obst\u00e1culo en el camino\u201d.<\/em> Adem\u00e1s, la doctora invita a concentrarse en el presente y dejar de hacer planes a largo plazo, algo que ha creado mucha frustraci\u00f3n. <em>\u201cLa depresi\u00f3n est\u00e1 relacionada con mirar al pasado, mientras que la ansiedad nace de mirar al futuro. De ah\u00ed que ser cortoplacista sea muy sano mentalmente\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Para adaptarse cuanto antes al escenario actual, Cinthya recomienda <em>\u201cabrir la mente para flexibilizar rutinas y patrones a la hora de retomar aspectos del mundo laboral y social, explorar nuevas actividades o hobbies que nos hagan sentir bien, compartir tus vivencias con otras personas, pasar tiempo con la familia y amigos, disfrutar del ocio y marcarse objetivos a corto plazo. En definitiva, centrarse en aquello que podemos controlar y no estar tan pendientes de lo que no depende de nosotros\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Cuidar la dieta, hacer ejercicio a diario y mantener una correcta higiene del sue\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n nos ayudan a tener una buena salud mental. <em>\u201cSeguir un estilo de vida saludable va a hacer que tengamos un estado f\u00edsico y un sistema inmunol\u00f3gico fuertes, lo que nos permitir\u00e1 superar mejor los momentos de estr\u00e9s\u201d,<\/em> concluye la doctora.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ansiedad, estr\u00e9s, depresi\u00f3n, incertidumbre, miedo, tristeza, alteraciones del sue\u00f1o\u2026 Estamos viviendo una situaci\u00f3n in\u00e9dita y complicada en la que nos vemos superados por los problemas sanitarios, laborales, econ\u00f3micos y familiares.
