Durante unos d\u00edas hemos sido indulgentes con los h\u00e1bitos nutricionales, pero no hay que mortificarse por ello. Lo que s\u00ed debemos hacer en cuanto regresemos a la rutina diaria es incluir en nuestra dieta <strong>alimentos que ayuden al organismo a depurarse correctamente<\/strong>. Pero, Marina Domene, nutricionista de SHA, avisa de que \u201csiempre estamos expuestos a diferentes factores qu\u00edmicos y toxinas. De hecho, ya hay estudios que demuestran que las personas que viven en ciudades con una gran <strong>contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental<\/strong> sufren m\u00e1s problemas metab\u00f3licos y tienen \u00edndices m\u00e1s altos de <strong>obesidad<\/strong> y <strong>sobrepeso<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La buena noticia es que el cuerpo tiene sus propios sistemas de depuraci\u00f3n y el \u00f3rgano m\u00e1s importante que se encarga de ello es <strong>el h\u00edgado<\/strong>. \u201cEl h\u00edgado tiene que realizar diferentes reacciones para poder eliminar los metales pesados, los pesticidas y los herbicidas, que son <strong>disruptores endocrinos<\/strong> que alteran el sistema hormonal y generan una disfunci\u00f3n. El primer paso es limitar la exposici\u00f3n a estas toxinas, evitando el consumo de alcohol y de alimentos procesados ricos az\u00facares, harinas refinadas y grasas hidrogenadas y tomando medicamentos \u00fanicamente cuando sea necesario\u201d, afirma Marina.<\/p>\n<p>Otro aspecto b\u00e1sico es fortalecer la salud intestinal, ya que el intestino hace las veces de filtro y es el primer sistema de defensa. \u201c<strong>Una microbiota saludable impide que las toxinas lleguen al torrente sangu\u00edneo<\/strong>. Los alimentos fermentados, como el chucrut o el kimchi, y aquellos que son fuente de fibra, como los cereales integrales (arroz, quinoa y trigo sarraceno) y las <strong>verduras<\/strong> <strong>de<\/strong> <strong>hoja verde<\/strong>, como la espinaca, el cardo, el kale o la acelga, ayudan a equilibrar la salud intestinal. Para <strong>optimizar la funci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica<\/strong> es fundamental tener unos buenos niveles de glutati\u00f3n, que es el mayor antioxidante natural del organismo. Para ello, hay que consumir alimentos muy ricos en sulfatos, como el br\u00f3coli, la col, la cebolla o el ajo, porque una de las v\u00edas m\u00e1s importantes del h\u00edgado para <strong>la eliminaci\u00f3n de las toxinas es<\/strong> <strong>la sulfataci\u00f3n<\/strong>. Eso s\u00ed, hay que recalcar que no hay que tomar siempre los alimentos d\u00e9tox en forma de zumo, sino que los s\u00f3lidos tienen el mismo efecto\u201d, aclara la experta.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, a\u00f1adir a nuestros platos <strong>determinados condimentos y especias<\/strong> tambi\u00e9n puede acelerar el proceso de detoxificaci\u00f3n. As\u00ed, como explica Marina, \u201cla c\u00farcuma act\u00faa como antioxidante y ayuda a eliminar <strong>los metabolitos<\/strong> que pueden dejar algunos medicamentos, como el paracetamol o el ibuprofeno.
