Aunque es cierto que el n\u00famero de casos detectados no deja de crecer, tambi\u00e9n lo es que, gracias al <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">diagn\u00f3stico precoz<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> y a los avances m\u00e9dicos, t\u00e9cnicos y cient\u00edficos, se ha producido un destacado <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">incremento en la tasa de supervivencia<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> a cinco a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Una vez terminado el tratamiento, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">regresar a la rutina diaria puede resultar un desaf\u00edo<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> y\u202fdar un poco de v\u00e9rtigo. Como comenta Cinthya\u202fMolina, psic\u00f3loga de SHA Wellnes Clinic, \u201ccomienza\u202fun <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proceso de adaptaci\u00f3n\u202fa la\u202fnueva\u202fnormalidad<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u202fque, aunque parezca\u202fsencillo y lleno de alegr\u00eda, tambi\u00e9n puede ser lento y provocar algunos miedos. Es importante <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">reflexionar sobre lo sucedido<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> porque, durante el tratamiento, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">las emociones<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> han pasado de forma muy r\u00e1pida y pararse a digerirlas ayuda a poder integrarlas, reinterpretarlas y encajarlas en nuestra vida. Es entonces cuando nos damos cuenta de que la vida no est\u00e1 en el punto en el que la dejamos, sino que ha seguido avanzando. Y es que, durante el tratamiento, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">se abandonan todos los roles<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (familiares, sociales, laborales), pero cuando termina, la persona ha cambiado y, por tanto, los roles tambi\u00e9n. Es el llamado <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">crecimiento postraum\u00e1tico<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que consiste en un <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">cambio de valores y prioridades<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> como consecuencia de haberse enfrentado a la temible realidad de la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">impredecibilidad de la vida y la gesti\u00f3n de la incertidumbre<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Esto hace que la persona se embarque en proyectos que jam\u00e1s pens\u00f3 que realizar\u00eda, como cambiar de trabajo, y que, seguramente, antes de la enfermedad no se hubiese atrevido. Esta nueva <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00e9poca se afronta con gran ilusi\u00f3n<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, pero a la vez hay que saber que no est\u00e1 exenta de miedos que hay que saber gestionar. En eso precisamente consiste <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ser resiliente<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, en aprovechar los momentos dif\u00edciles de la vida para sacarles partido y salir empoderado de ellos\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Para hacer m\u00e1s llevadero el proceso de adaptaci\u00f3n a la nueva normalidad, Cinthya recomienda \u201c<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">vivir el presente<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, el aqu\u00ed y el ahora, pasar m\u00e1s tiempo con los seres queridos y <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hablar sobre los sentimientos<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. El c\u00e1ncer suele ser como un tamiz que selecciona las relaciones buenas de las que no lo son. Adem\u00e1s, es muy importante <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mejorar el autocuidado<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: cuidar la alimentaci\u00f3n, el sue\u00f1o y el descanso, practicar ejercicio f\u00edsico, tener una buena higiene mental y mantener una <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">conducta proactiva<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, respetando el ritmo propio. Es decir, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">traducir en hechos los cambios<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> que hemos ido planificado. En definitiva, y pese a las dificultades, es posible volver a la vida normal despu\u00e9s de haber superado un c\u00e1ncer.
