Por un lado, est\u00e1n los factores <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">biol\u00f3gicos<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que engloban desde la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">predisposici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> a la alteraci\u00f3n de los mecanismos de la recaptaci\u00f3n de la serotonina o la dopamina, pasando por <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">cambios hormonales<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (como la depresi\u00f3n posparto) o sufrir una enfermedad. Por otro, est\u00e1n los factores <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">psicosociales<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que se refieren a las <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">experiencias traum\u00e1ticas <\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a las que nos enfrentamos en el d\u00eda a d\u00eda: la p\u00e9rdida de un ser querido, el despido de un trabajo, una separaci\u00f3n o un abuso f\u00edsico. Est\u00e1 demostrado que la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">microbiota intestinal<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> est\u00e1 asociada al estado de \u00e1nimo y que influye tanto en la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">qu\u00edmica cerebral<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> como en nuestro comportamiento. No en vano, el 90 % de la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">serotonina<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, la conocida como hormona de la felicidad, se produce en el <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">aparato digestivo<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. De ah\u00ed que seguir una <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">nutrici\u00f3n saludable<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, en la que primen las frutas y verduras de temporada, los cereales integrales, las grasas vegetales, las legumbres, las semillas y los frutos secos sea un <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">m\u00e9todo natural<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> tanto para prevenir la depresi\u00f3n como para salir de ella\u00bb, afirma Cinthya.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Otra de las causas que interviene en la depresi\u00f3n es una mala <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">salud f\u00edsica<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> porque, en el cuerpo humano, todo est\u00e1 interconectado. \u201cAdem\u00e1s de manteneros en forma, ayudarnos a controlar el peso, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">favorecer el equilibrio interior<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> y liberar serotonina y dopamina, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">practicar ejercicio moderado de manera regular disminuye los niveles de cortisol<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que es la hormona del estr\u00e9s, un factor muy asociado al trastorno depresivo de la <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">distimia<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que es un cuadro depresivo de menor intensidad, pero cr\u00f3nico. Si el cuerpo funciona bien, la mente tambi\u00e9n. Y viceversa. Otra de las ventajas de la actividad deportiva es que favorece el <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">descanso reparador<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, que es esencial para disfrutar de una buena salud mental. Porque, dormir mal, por exceso o por defecto, es tanto causa como consecuencia de la depresi\u00f3n\u201d, a\u00f1ade la experta.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Un dato positivo es que, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, \u201cla <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">estigmatizaci\u00f3n asociada a los trastornos mentales<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> est\u00e1 disminuyendo, gracias, principalmente, a que muchos personajes p\u00fablicos hablan de ellos con total naturalidad.
