Pero la mayor\u00eda de los entrenamientos se centran en conseguir un objetivo concreto: ganar m\u00fasculo, perder peso o aumentar la fuerza o la resistencia.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">El <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">entrenamiento funcional<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> no pertenece a esta categor\u00eda porque, como nos cuenta Francisco Pay\u00e1n, supervisor de Fitness de SHA, \u201cno se focaliza en un grupo muscular espec\u00edfico, sino que <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">trabaja el cuerpo en su totalidad<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. A diferencia del entrenamiento tradicional, que se basa en gestos que casi nunca hacemos en la vida cotidiana y que suele dividirse por zonas (un d\u00eda, pectorales, y, al siguiente, el tren inferior), el entrenamiento funcional <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">se inspira en movimientos habituales que realizamos de forma natural en nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, como sentarse, agacharse, subir escaleras o cargar con las bolsas de la compra\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">El entrenamiento funcional es un ejercicio de <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">intensidad media<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> que se puede adaptar a cualquier edad y condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica. De ah\u00ed que sea la opci\u00f3n perfecta para aquellas personas que no buscan una meta determinada, como, por ejemplo, adelgazar, sino simplemente <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sentirse bien y estar saludables<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. Otra de sus ventajas es que puede practicarse tanto en el gimnasio como al aire libre e incluir elementos y aparatos, como un bosu, una fitball o un minitrampol\u00edn, para hacer la sesi\u00f3n m\u00e1s amena y divertida.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">De entre sus m\u00faltiples beneficios, Francisco destaca que \u201cproporciona un mayor rango de flexibilidad articular, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">mejora la postura corporal<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> y las habilidades motrices, aporta agilidad, coordinaci\u00f3n y <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">equilibrio<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> y disminuye la probabilidad de sufrir lesiones. Y, por supuesto, y como cualquier otra pr\u00e1ctica deportiva, acelera el metabolismo y la p\u00e9rdida de peso, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">tonifica los m\u00fasculos<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, alivia el estr\u00e9s y favorece un descanso reparador. Como yo siempre digo, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">el ejercicio es la mejor medicina<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201d.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Los cuatro ejercicios funcionales m\u00e1s comunes son:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sentadillas<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: separa las piernas a la altura de los hombros y ag\u00e1chate lo m\u00e1ximo posible, flexionando las piernas y manteniendo la espalda recta, y vuelve a subir.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Flexiones<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: tumbado bocabajo en el suelo, coloca las manos a la altura de los hombros y separa los dedos para tener un mejor apoyo. Pon el cuerpo recto y desciende lentamente, flexionando los codos hacia atr\u00e1s y hacia afuera. Vuelve a subir, extendiendo los codos.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dominadas<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: cu\u00e9lgate de una barra con las manos ligeramente m\u00e1s abiertas que la anchura de los hombros e intenta elevar tu peso corporal hasta que la barbilla supere la barra, manteniendo los codos pegados al torso. Despu\u00e9s, baja el cuerpo lentamente.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Saltos<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">: salta a la comba o sube y baja escalones saltando con las dos piernas a la vez.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Un \u00faltimo consejo de Francisco: \u201cpara que el entrenamiento funcional sea eficaz, la sesi\u00f3n debe durar <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">entre 30 minutos y una hora<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, incluyendo el calentamiento previo y el estiramiento final.
