En la actualidad, un amplio grupo de la sociedad se preocupa por seguir una <strong>dieta sana<\/strong> y equilibrada, evitando los alimentos ultraprocesados y los conservantes, colorantes y aditivos que son perjudiciales para la salud. Sin embargo, esta preocupaci\u00f3n no se suele trasladar al campo de la <strong>salud mental<\/strong> y consumimos a diario muchas <strong>toxinas emocionales<\/strong> que nos alejan del estado de bienestar \u00f3ptimo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Estar expuestos habitualmente a personas y ambientes t\u00f3xicos y <strong>pensamientos negativos<\/strong> es la versi\u00f3n emocional de una alimentaci\u00f3n poco saludable, rica en az\u00facares y harinas refinadas, alcohol o grasas de origen animal. Es decir, poco a poco, van <strong>minando la salud<\/strong>. Como afirma Cinthya, \u201cla acumulaci\u00f3n de estos elementos negativos provoca, con el tiempo, una intoxicaci\u00f3n emocional. El primer paso para hacer un proceso de desintoxicaci\u00f3n es <strong>ser conscientes de todo aquello que nos causa malestar<\/strong>. Eso s\u00ed, es un error muy extendido pensar que la salud mental depende solo de factores externos. De hecho, en ocasiones, <strong>el propio individuo es su mayor fuente de toxicidad<\/strong> porque solemos ser el juez m\u00e1s cruel que tenemos y nos convertimos en nuestro peor enemigo. Esto es debido a la llamada <strong>voz interior<\/strong>, esa voz que nunca se apaga, que nos <strong>critica<\/strong>, que desaprueba nuestro comportamiento, que nos recuerda constantemente lo que hemos hecho mal o esa situaci\u00f3n en la que no estuvimos a la altura. En definitiva, una voz que nos <strong>boicotea <\/strong>y que genera ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n e ira. Por eso, es fundamental aprender a <strong>calmar ese di\u00e1logo interior<\/strong> porque, el c\u00f3mo nos hablamos a nosotros mismos, repercute directamente en c\u00f3mo esperamos que los dem\u00e1s nos hablen o c\u00f3mo permitimos que lo hagan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, desde la irrupci\u00f3n de las <strong>nuevas tecnolog\u00edas<\/strong>, nos enfrentamos a un tipo distinto de toxicidad: la digital. \u201cCasi sin darnos cuenta, consumimos a diario una gran cantidad de <strong>contenido digital que es muy t\u00f3xico<\/strong> para la salud emocional. Las <strong>redes sociales<\/strong> nos muestran un mundo ideal, eternamente feliz, con unos <strong>c\u00e1nones de belleza inalcanzables<\/strong> y un estilo de vida tan perfecto como ficticio. Si nuestra expectativa es alcanzar esos niveles, siempre vamos a <strong>estar frustrados<\/strong>\u201d, a\u00f1ade la experta.<\/p>\n<p>Para lograr un completa desintoxicaci\u00f3n emocional, tambi\u00e9n es necesario <strong>potenciar la carga positiva<\/strong>: \u201crod\u00e9ate de personas que te aporten cosas buenas y que te hagan sentir bien, <strong>emb\u00e1rcate en proyectos<\/strong> o hobbies que te ilusionen y haz cosas que te generen <strong>sentimientos positivos<\/strong>, que te emocionen. Cuida tu alimentaci\u00f3n, haz ejercicio f\u00edsico de manera regular, procura descansar bien por la noche, <strong>trabaja la respiraci\u00f3n<\/strong>, c\u00e9ntrate en el momento presente y evita hacer planes a largo plazo.
