Nowadays people use to spend much of their time working out in the gym in order to release the stress accumulated during the long working day. However, in order to get a good position working out is not enough, the best is to combine exercises for body and mind at the same time.

That’s why today we want to present one of the new trends in fitness, BodyArt. A new training created by the new yorker gymnast and therapist Robert Steinbacher, that combines elements of training, yoga, physical therapy, and classic relaxation techniques.

This is a new way to relieve tension and stress, combining body and mind. The main goal of BodyArt is to ensure the proper functioning of the whole body because it doesn’t just focus on one isolated muscle but in several muscles at the same time. Many positions are based on the balance so it gets people focus their attention to their own bodies instead of being distracted by the environment. This increases the level of oxygen in the brain and muscles, which relax the body during training.

The benefits with some classes are multiple:

  • Lengthens the muscles.
  • Shapes the figure.
  • Changes the way you move.
  • Removes physical and mental barriers.
  • Improves breathing.
  • Improves coordination between the two hemispheres of the brain.
  • Increases concentration.
  • Counteracts negative muscular tension.

This new trend of relaxation during training is based on the Yin and Yang principle because each exercise is interconnected. The training is based on inspiration-expiration, strength-relaxation. Classes vary and depending on the level of participants and the intensity of work, a sequence of exercises can vary or be repeated.

Dare to practice this new discipline with which you will be filled with energy and free from physical and mental barriers!
