Every great dream begins with a clear mind, is inspired by a pure heart and needs the body in splendour to achieve it.

After a decade of transforming the lives of thousands of people around the world from our current location in Spain, we dream of taking this valuable concept to new continents. To allow more and more people to benefit from a state of full health and well-being. Over the years we have travelled to dozens of locations looking for the perfect environment to replicate the spirit of SHA, looking for nature, a warm climate and accessibility. It was not easy, but finally we found everything we could imagine and more on a divine beach in Mexico.

North of the Riviera Maya, across from Isla Mujeres, we have found, just 30 minutes from Cancun international airport, a virgin paradise. The site sits on seven hectares of lush regional flora and fauna.

SHA Mexico will have about half a kilometre of white sand beach and crystal clear water, as well as a cenote, a natural limestone, freshwater pool typical of the region. Just offshore is the largest coral reef in the northern hemisphere, a protected marine ecosystem.

Heart of Mayan Culture

The Mayas considered Isla Mujeres a sacred place to worship the fertility goddess Ixchel. Some of the most important Maya archaeological sites are nearby.

Natural Habitat

A paradise on earth

Enter an indescribable natural treasure, a refuge from it all. Just offshore is the largest coral reef in the northern hemisphere, the marine ecosystem with more protected species than anywhere else in the world. Different species of turtles arrive every year to spawn in the warm sand of their beaches and numerous colonies of birds such as pelicans, herons and frigates arrive in the mornings with the first rays of the sun.

Architecture and Design

SHA Mexico will rise to different heights surrounded by gardens that will integrate it into the surroundings. An organic and contemporary design aesthetic will permeate the wellness centre, whose spaces will flow perfectly from the interior to the exterior. True to our principles of sustainability, we will minimise our environmental impact by opting for mostly natural materials and renewable energy sources. Marble, Mexican ceramics, wicker and native fabrics are some of the organic, natural and local materials that we will use in the construction and decoration of the avant-garde wellness centre. The luxury finishes will respect the overall aesthetic and the environment.

The renowned Mexican architectural firm, Sordo Madaleno, and the prestigious interior architect Alejandro Escudero will be the design architects of SHA Mexico. The landscaping, a fundamental aspect of the project, will be carried out by Maat Handasa, who will design the exteriors to highlight local species.

SHA Mexico’s size, exclusivity, innovation and clinical and wellness service offering will make it the standard to beat for the health and wellness sector in the Americas.
