SUSTAINABLE IMPULSE: TOURISM SECTOR MODERNIZATION AND COMPETITIVENESS PLAN
SHA Hotel has been awarded a grant of €77,743.14, corresponding to a total investment of €77,743.14, under the program for the financing of Energy Efficiency and Circular Economy Projects in Tourism Companies in the Valencian Community. This initiative forms part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
The program supports companies in their transition towards more sustainable, competitive and environmentally responsible business models by promoting the reduction of energy consumption, the optimization of resources and the implementation of green innovation solutions.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT IMPLEMENTED: FACILITY AND EQUIPMENT UPGRADES
Replacement of the hotel’s former Domestic Hot Water (DHW) system (three gas boilers) with the installation of high-temperature aerothermal heat pump systems, aimed at improving sustainability, increasing energy efficiency and modernizing the property’s technical infrastructure.
The grant awarded amounted to €77,743.14, representing 100% of the total project cost.

SHA advances sustainable mobility with the installation of new electric vehicle charging stations.
At SHA, we continue to evolve our approach to wellbeing by integrating innovation, comfort, and environmental responsibility. As part of this commitment, we have installed new electric vehicle charging stations within our facilities, allowing guests to conveniently recharge their vehicles while enjoying their stay in L’Albir.
This initiative supports our vision for cleaner mobility and has been made possible through the MOVES III Program, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and managed in the Valencian Community by IVACE.
With this step, we further strengthen our commitment to a model of hospitality that balances personal wellbeing with care for the environment—bringing together health, innovation, and sustainability as part of the SHA experience.
