During the night, our skin regenerates and renews itself with more intensity. The skin restores its vitality, fights the apparition of wrinkles and gets more receptive to treatments. So it is the perfect moment to take care of it and take the greatest advantage of this regeneration.
“Between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. the skin regenerates with more intensity.”
You just need to follow 8 steps to regenerate your skin during the night:
Before going to sleep, it is crucial to remove your make-up properly. Then, cleanse it with soap, gel or foam, adapted to your skin type. Cleaning your face before going to sleep is essential since removing make-up you also remove dead skin cells and contaminants. Like that, the skin breathes and regenerates more easily.
Then, you can tone up your face with an adapted toner. Many people miss this step but it will help remove the last impurities, close the pores and prepare your face for moisturizing.
A moisturize cream intensifies skin regeneration to keep it hydrated and elastic.
Practicing a few facial exercises every night, you can avoid flaccidity and elasticity loss.
The night is the ideal moment to have an oil hair bath. Cover your hair with some vegetal oil (coconut, olive, jojoba…) and let it all night long. Your hair will look incredibly moisturized and glossy the next morning.
It is also important to take care of the lips. To have them well moisturized and ready to make up the following day, apply a good layer of balm every night before going to bed.
Let’s keep going on moisturizing! Apply a very nutritive moisturizer on your hands and feet. If you want to accentuate the effects, apply a bigger amount of moisturizer and wear socks and gloves not to stain the sheets and to let the product be absorbed completely.
The most important beauty tip is to have a good and uninterrupted sleeping night to relax and get rid of all the stress accumulated during the day. To relax and prepare yourself to sleep, spray a cocktail of essential oils (chamomile, lavender, valerian, marjoram…) on your sheets 15 minutes before getting into bed (be careful with essential oils if you are pregnant, have asthma, epilepsy…).
Following these 8 steps you will have all the tools to wake up with a glowing face and a totally regenerated skin!
